ICE CREAM DREAMS

A Scoop of Joy, Community, and Connection

When I started Bite Sized Soph, I wasn’t just making ice cream — I was creating moments. I was building a tiny world where joy, connection, and reflection could coexist, one scoop at a time.

My pop-ups began as experiments in community-building: What happens when you offer people sweetness, a smile, and a question that makes them pause… even for a second?
The answer, every time, has been magic

Why I Do This

I chose ice cream because it brings people home to themselves.
It softens us.
It reminds us that joy doesn’t have to be earned — it can simply be tasted.

As someone who has spent years studying psychology, healing, and community, Bite Sized Soph is my living thesis:
Joy is a catalyst. Connection is medicine. Play is a form of healing.

These pop-ups allow me to blend all the things I love — food, storytelling, human behavior, culture, nostalgia — into something people can actually feel.

What Makes Bite-Sized Soph Different

At every pop-up, I hand people more than a cup of ice cream.

Each cup includes a handwritten question — either:

  • a silly, playful question, a piece of my inner child or

  • a reflection question, a moment of soul

Watching people laugh, pause, or spark a conversation because of a single handwritten note is my favorite part of all of this.

I get to witness strangers open up.
I see families linger a little longer.
I watch grown adults light up like kids again.
That’s the real heart of Bite-Sized Soph.

The Pop-Up Experience

When you come to one of my events, you’re entering a tiny universe I’ve created with intention:

  • Music playing while I scoop

  • A Sprinkle Wagon packed with jump ropes, chalk, coloring books, hula hoops, bubbles

  • People from different walks of life connecting

  • A warm, welcoming energy that makes you want to stay awhile

This isn’t just a dessert stop — it’s a micro–third space.
A moment to breathe, reset, and feel human again.

Behind the Scenes

There’s so much that goes into these pop-ups that people never see, and honestly, I love the process:

  • testing recipes late at night

  • hand-writing every single cup question

  • coordinating with local businesses

  • staying up to make fresh batches

  • teaching myself the business side as I go

It’s a lot of work — but it’s soulful work.
It’s work that feels aligned with who I am and what I’m building.

What’s Next

I’m excited to share that I’m in the process of bringing Bite-Sized Soph from pop-ups into a physical location — a true community space where ice cream, connection, and creativity meet.

In the meantime, I’m continuing to expand my pop-ups across San Diego and the Bay Area.

If you want to bring Bite-Sized Soph to your:
farmers market
birthday party
corporate event
community gathering
creative workshop

…reach out to me. I love creating custom experiences and would be honored to be part of your event.

This brand is a piece of my heart.
It’s my way of reminding people — and myself — that sweetness, play, and presence still matter.
That we can build community in the smallest ways.
That sometimes all someone needs is a scoop and a moment to feel seen.

Thank you for supporting me, believing in me, and being part of the story I’m building.
There’s so much more to come — and I can’t wait to see you at the next pop-up. 🍨✨
